Description

Product Description: Sikacryl®-110 is a single-component acrylic dispersion sealant designed for filling cracks and joints indoors. It is suitable for use in hot and tropical climates.

Applications: Sikacryl®-110 is ideal for filling cracks and joints with limited movement inside buildings. It is also effective for sealing ducts in HVAC systems. Common applications include:

• Head of wall joints
• Wall joints
• Interior joints around windows and doors
• Around penetrations
• Gap filling in construction joints

• Shelf Life: 12 months from the production date if stored properly in unopened, original packaging under the recommended conditions.
• Storage Conditions: Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and frost, at temperatures between +5 °C and +25 °C.
• Density: ~1.65 kg/l (ISO 1183-1).
• VOC Content: < 15 g/l (without water) (USEPA Method 24).

• Service Temperature: −20 °C minimum / +70 °C maximum (dry).
• Joint Design:
  • Joint width should be between 10 mm and 15 mm, with a width-to-depth ratio of 2:1.
  • For joints smaller than 10 mm wide, refer to the specific table for minimum depth and width.
• Adhesion in Peel: ~26.9 N (ASTM C794).
• Elongation at Break: ~250% (ASTM D412).

Application Guidelines:

• Consumption:
  • Calculate joint length per 280 ml based on the joint width and depth:
    • Joint width: 11 mm, joint depth: 5 mm = 280 ml / 55 = 5 m.
    • Joint width: 8 mm, joint depth: 6 mm = 280 ml / 48 = 5.8 m.
    • Joint width: 10 mm, joint depth: 6 mm = 280 ml / 60 = 4.6 m.
    • Joint width: 15 mm, joint depth: 8 mm = 280 ml / 120 = 2.3 m.
    • Joint width: 20 mm, joint depth: 10 mm = 280 ml / 200 = 1.4 m.
    • Joint width: 25 mm, joint depth: 12 mm = 280 ml / 300 = 0.9 m.
• Sag Flow: Non-sag (ASTM C639).
• Ambient Air Temperature: +5 °C minimum / +45 °C maximum, at least 3 °C above the dew point temperature.
• Substrate Temperature: +5 °C minimum / +45 °C maximum.
• Curing Rate: ~4 mm/24 hours at 23 °C / 50% relative humidity (CQP 049-2).
• Skinning Time: ~10 minutes (CQP 019-1).
• Tack-Free Time: ~35 minutes (CQP 019-1).
