DESCRIPTION
SikaHyflex®-305 EU is a one-component, moisture-curing, low-modulus elastic weather sealant. It is specifically designed for use in hot and tropical climates.

USES
SikaHyflex®-305 EU is intended for weatherproofing and sealing applications where long-lasting performance in harsh conditions is necessary. It is especially suitable as a weather sealant for curtain walls and metal cladding facades.

• Composition: Neutral-cure silicone
• Packaging: 300 ml cartridge (25 cartridges per box), 600 ml foil pack (20 foil packs per box)
• Color Options: Black, white, grey S1, grey S3, grey S4, grey S6, RAL 7024, ivory, beige, champagne, brown, bronze
• Shelf Life: 12 months for cartridges, 15 months for foil packs (when stored in original, sealed packaging under proper conditions)
• Storage Conditions: Store in a dry area, protected from direct sunlight, and at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.
• Density: ~1.50 kg/l (ISO 1183-1)

COMPATIBILITY
SikaHyflex®-305 EU is compatible with most SikaHyflex® and Sikasil® silicone weather sealants, Sikasil® SG adhesives, and Sikasil® IG sealants. Contact Sika technical service for approval before using other sealants and adhesives in direct contact with SikaHyflex®-305 EU.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

• Consumption:
  • 10 mm joint width, 10 mm depth: 6 m per 600 ml foil pack
  • 15 mm joint width, 8 mm depth: 5 m per 600 ml foil pack
  • 20 mm joint width, 10 mm depth: 3 m per 600 ml foil pack
  • 25 mm joint width, 12 mm depth: 2 m per 600 ml foil pack
  • 30 mm joint width, 15 mm depth: 1.3 m per 600 ml foil pack
• Backing Material: Use closed-cell polyethylene foam backing rods.
• Sag Flow: ~0 mm (20 mm profile, 50°C) (ISO 7390)
• Ambient Temperature: +5°C to +40°C, minimum 3°C above dew point
• Substrate Temperature: +5°C to +40°C
