Certificates and Compliance
Sikament® RB 1100 meets the standards of ASTM C494, Types A & F, and EN 934-2. Proper concreting practices and relevant standards must be followed. Fresh concrete must be adequately cured, particularly in high temperatures, to prevent plastic and drying shrinkage. Use Sika® Antisol® products for curing or apply wet hessian.

Product Information
Composition: Sulphonated naphthalene
Packaging: Available in 1000 L flowbins or bulk supply via tanker
Shelf Life: 12 months from production if stored correctly
Storage Conditions: Store in undamaged, unopened packaging in dry conditions between +5°C and +50°C. Mix well before use.
Appearance and Colour: Dark brown liquid
Density: Approximately 1.21 kg/l at +25°C
Chloride Content: Nil (EN 934-2)

Application Information
Recommended Dosage: 0.8 – 1.5% by weight of binder. Other dosages may be used depending on mix design, materials, and environmental conditions. Trial mixes are recommended to determine the correct dosage.

Dispensing: Sikament® RB 1100 should be added to the concrete mix after 80% of the water is added, ensuring all solids are wetted. Avoid mixing with dry aggregates.

Compatibility: Sikament® RB 1100 works well with all types of cement and supplementary materials like Microsilica, Fly Ash, GGBS, and Sika products such as SikaPump®, Sika®FerroGard®, SikaFume®, SikaFiber®, Sika® Aer, Sika® Stabilizer, and SikaControl®. It is recommended to perform trial mixes to confirm performance when combined with other admixtures. For further guidance, consult Sika Technical Department.
