SikaViscoCrete®-3110 is a third-generation polycarboxylate (PCE) based superplasticizer for concrete, developed for ready-mixed concrete to give extended slump retention and high strength development in normal-grade mixes. It acts by surface adsorption producing steric hindrance and electrostatic repulsion between cement particles, giving high dispersion, flow and retention. Suitable for hot and tropical climates.

Storage

Store in original, unopened, sealed packaging in dry, frost-free conditions. Protect from direct sunlight. Refer to the PDS for exact storage temperature and shelf life.

Application Guide (5 Easy Steps)

01
Trial Mixes

Establish the optimum dosage by trial mixes with the actual materials and conditions. Typical dosage ranges are given in the current Sika Pakistan PDS.

Dispensing

Add the admixture to the concrete together with the mixing water or into the wet concrete. Do not add to the dry aggregate/cement.

Mixing

Mix thoroughly to achieve uniform dispersion and full plasticising effect. Extended mixing improves the water-reduction and flow performance.

Placing

Place and compact the highly workable concrete using standard good practice. The improved flow reduces placing and compaction effort.

05
Curing

Cure the concrete properly, especially in hot conditions, using an approved Sika curing compound or moist curing.
