Tanks and reservoirs must hold water in and keep contamination out, often for drinking water. This system waterproofs water-retaining structures from the inside, with potable suitability where required.
Cementitious waterproofing slurries line tanks and reservoirs, bonding to prepared concrete and resisting water pressure from the retained side. Joints, corners and pipe penetrations are detailed before field coats. For drinking water, product selection is limited to grades whose TDS documents potable contact suitability, and filling follows the stated cure period.
Listed live from our product classification.
Resists pressure from the retained water
Potable-contact grades for drinking water tanks
Detailing at joints and penetrations first
Applied to the inside face, no excavation
Only specific grades are, documented on their TDS. Tell us the tank use and we will specify only from potable-suitable products.
After the full cure period on the TDS, followed by washing per the procedure. Filling early is the most common failure we see in tank work.
Usually both: crack treatment and repair first, then a full waterproofing lining. A photo set of the empty tank lets us sequence it accurately.
