The substrate must be sound, clean and free from laitance, dust, oil and loose material. Saturate the surface with water to a saturated surface-dry (damp, not wet) condition before application.

Add the powder to the given amount of water and stir with a low-speed mixer for about 5 minutes until a lump-free, smooth, brushable slurry is achieved.

Apply the first coat by brush or roller, working the crystalline slurry well into the surface.

Apply the second coat while the first is still tacky (or lightly re-wet if it has set), building the system to the required coverage.

Keep the coating damp and protect from rapid drying so the crystalline reaction can develop.
