SikaTop® Armatec®-110 EpoCem® is a three-component, epoxy-modified, cementitious coating used as a bonding primer and as reinforcement corrosion protection within concrete repair systems. Applied to prepared concrete and exposed steel, it provides an active and barrier corrosion protection to the reinforcement and an excellent bonding bridge for subsequent Sika repair mortars.

Storage
Store in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions, protected from frost and direct sunlight. Refer to the PDS for exact storage temperature and shelf life.
Application guide
Application guide (5 easy steps)
- PreparationPrepare the concrete and clean the exposed steel reinforcement to the required standard (e.g. abrasive blasting), removing rust, scale and contaminants.
- MixingBlend the three components in the correct sequence and ratio with a low-speed mixer to a uniform, lump-free consistency.
- Reinforcement CoatingApply two coats to the prepared steel by brush, ensuring the back of bars is coated; allow the correct interval between coats.
- Bonding PrimerApply as a bonding bridge to the prepared concrete and place the repair mortar within the open time (wet-on-wet as specified).
- RepairApply the selected Sika repair mortar per its own data sheet within the bonding bridge open time.
