USES

• Concrete Repair: For repairing damaged concrete floors, beams, pre-cast slabs, and other structures
• Bond Coat: Used to bond new concrete to old concrete, plaster, or masonry surfaces (stone/brick)
• Plaster Repair: Enhances plaster repairs and creates waterproof plaster
• Floor Screeds and Toppings: Suitable for abrasion-resistant, non-dusting floors
• Waterproofing: For waterproofing basements, lift pits, inspection pits, sunken water tanks, bathrooms, balconies, and exposed roofs before applying screed
• Other Applications: Used for bedding tiles and fixing/re-fixing slip bricks

• Composition: Styrene-Butadiene co-polymer latex
• Packaging: Available in 1, 5, and 25-litre containers
• Shelf Life: 12 months when stored properly
• Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight. In tropical climates, store in air-conditioned environments
• Appearance and Colour: Milky-white
• Density: 1.000 – 1.005 at 25°C
• pH Value: Approximately 10 ± 1

  • Floor Topping/Screed: 10 L SikaEmaco® SBR 2: 50 kg cement: 75 kg sand: 75 kg coarse aggregate (6mm down): 10 L water

APPLICATION INFORMATION

• Consumption:
  • Bonding Coat: 4 to 4.5 m² per litre of SikaEmaco® SBR 2 mixed with 1.5 kg of cement
  • Waterproofing Slurry: 2 m² in two coats per litre of SikaEmaco® SBR 2 mixed with 2 kg of cement
  • Repair Mortar/Concrete Screed: 10 L of SikaEmaco® SBR 2 per 50 kg of cement
