Sikament® NN is a highly effective dual-action liquid superplasticiser for producing high-slump concrete, or as a substantial water-reducing agent. As a water reducer it delivers up to around 20-25% water reduction with significantly increased early strengths (16-hour strength increased substantially) and 28-day strengths improved by up to about 40%, giving increased water-tightness. Suitable for hot and tropical climates.

Storage Conditions

Storage

Store in undamaged, unopened, original sealed packaging in dry conditions, protected from direct sunlight and frost. Refer to the PDS for exact storage temperature and shelf life.

Application Guide (5 Easy Steps)

01
Determine Dosage

Establish the optimum dosage by trial mixes with the actual materials and conditions. Typical dosage ranges are given in the current Sika Pakistan PDS.

Dispensing

Add the admixture to the gauging water or pour it into the concrete mixer with the mixing water. Do not add directly to the dry mix.

Mixing

Mix thoroughly (a minimum wet mixing time of about 60 seconds is recommended) to obtain full water reduction and workability.

Placing

Place the high-workability concrete with reduced vibration; ensure formwork is secure.

05
Curing

Cure the concrete properly, especially in hot conditions, using Sika Antisol products or moist curing.
