PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Packaging: Available in IBC tanks and 210-liter drums
- Shelf Life: 12 months from production, if kept in unopened, undamaged, and sealed packaging
- Storage Conditions: Store at temperatures above +5°C. If frozen, thaw at +5°C or higher and reconstitute gently with mechanical agitation (do not use pressurized air). Keep out of direct sunlight and protect from temperature extremes.
- Appearance/Colour: Dark brown liquid
- Specific Gravity: 1.12 ± 0.02 at 25°C
- pH Value: ≥ 6
- Total Chloride Ion Content: < 0.2%
APPLICATION INFORMATION
- Recommended Dosage: The optimal dosage should be determined through trial mixes. A typical starting range is 800ml to 2000ml per 100kg of cementitious material. For high-performance concrete, up to 2000ml per 100kg may be used, subject to site trials.
- Compatibility: MasterRheobuild® 820 is compatible with all cements and most air-entraining agents that meet ASTM standards. It is recommended for use with SikaControl®-720 AER (air-entraining agent) for concrete subjected to freeze-thaw conditions.
