Application Information:

• Surface Preparation: Ensure that surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contaminants such as dirt, grease, oil, or rust. For optimal adhesion, roughen smooth or non-porous surfaces and remove any old sealant.
• Application Method: MasterSeal 910 is applied using a caulking gun, which allows for precise control during application. It can also be applied with a spatula or trowel for larger joints or surface areas.
• Curing Time: While MasterSeal 910 typically forms a skin within hours, it may take up to 48 hours to fully cure, depending on the thickness of the application and environmental factors like temperature and humidity.
• Joint Size: The sealant is suitable for both small and large joints. For wider gaps, it may be necessary to apply the product in multiple layers, allowing each layer to cure before adding the next.
• Cleaning: Uncured MasterSeal 910 can be cleaned with mineral spirits or other suitable solvents. Once cured, mechanical removal is necessary, as the sealant becomes very durable and resistant to solvents.
• Application Temperature: The optimal application temperature for MasterSeal 910 is between 5°C and 35°C. Avoid applying in extreme conditions such as freezing temperatures or during heavy rain to ensure the best performance.
• Safety: MasterSeal 910 is generally safe to handle. However, it is recommended to wear gloves and protective equipment during application to prevent skin contact. Ensure adequate ventilation when using in confined spaces to avoid inhalation of fumes.
