Sika® Stabilizer-10 ME (formerly MCell 10ME) is a ready-to-use liquid foaming agent designed to produce lightweight foam concrete for various insulation and construction applications. Concrete made with Sika® Stabilizer-10 ME features a fine cellular structure, providing optimal workability with a given water-cement ratio. This results in a reduced material weight per unit volume, which lowers the dead load on the structure and improves heat conductivity. It is suitable for use in hot and tropical climates.
USES
- Thermal Insulation
Plastic density ~1,000 kg/m³
The lightweight foam concrete made with Sika® Stabilizer-10 ME (formerly MCell 10ME) is ideal for use as a light, insulating, and leveling layer on roofs and floors. - Encasement Concrete
Plastic density ~600 kg/m³
Pipes can be encased and held in place using the lightweight foam concrete produced with Sika® Stabilizer-10 ME. - Backfill Concrete
Plastic density ~1,350 kg/m³
Concrete made with Sika® Stabilizer-10 ME is easy to apply and does not require compaction.
FEATURES
- Safely introduces air pores up to 35%
- Dry density range of ~800–1,600 kg/m³ when combined with lightweight aggregates
- Stable air content before and after placing the concrete
- Can be pumped using a concrete pump
- Easy production in ready-mix plants using standard dosing equipment

APPLICATION INFORMATION
- Recommended Dosage:
Use a compact foam generator with a 2 bar water source to produce the required foam volume quickly. One liter of Sika® Stabilizer-10 ME produces foam at a rate of 660 liters per minute with 26 liters of water consumed each minute. For more details, consult the Sika Technical Department. - Application Time:
The foam dosage can be adjusted by controlling the foam produced by the foam gun to achieve a desired concrete density.
Foaming Time for 1m³ of Foam Concrete
- ~800 kg/m³: 58 minutes
- ~1,000 kg/m³: 52 minutes
- ~1,200 kg/m³: 42 minutes
- ~1,350 kg/m³: 39 minutes
- ~1,600 kg/m³: 29 minutes
