APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Substrate Preparation
Ensure the joint faces are completely dry and free of dirt, dust, cement laitance, or other contaminants. The best method for cleaning is sandblasting, grit blasting, or thorough wire brushing, followed by cleaning with oil-free compressed air.
Application
- Pour a small amount of primer into a clean container, resealing the main container immediately.
- Apply a generous coat of primer with a soft brush to the surface.
- Allow the primer to become tack-free before applying the SikaSeal® sealants.
- If the primer is left for more than 3 hours, reapply the primer.
Cleaning of Equipment
Clean tools and equipment immediately after use. Once the primer has cured, it can only be removed mechanically.
