Curing
Proper curing of fresh concrete is essential, particularly in hot weather, to prevent plastic and drying shrinkage. Use Sika Antisol® products or wet hessian as curing agents.
Cleaning
Clean all equipment and tools with water immediately after use.
Application Notes / Limitations
- When using Plastiment®-PR 200 M, ensure that an appropriate mix design is selected, and local materials are trialed.
- If overdosing occurs (within reasonable limits), the retarding effect will increase. During this period, keep the concrete moist to prevent premature drying, and expect an increase in air entrapment.
- Plastiment®-PR 200 M should not be added to dry cement.
- Perform suitability tests on fresh concrete before pouring.
