• Waterproof Plasters and Renderings: When mixed with plaster or rendering mortars, Sika-1 ensures the mortar becomes waterproof, making it suitable for wet rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and swimming pools.
• Repair Work and Renovations: Ideal for repairing cracks and defects in concrete surfaces and ensuring that the repaired area is waterproofed.

Application:

1. Surface Preparation:
   • The surfaces to be treated should be clean, sound, and free from dust, dirt, grease, or other contaminants.

   • In case of existing cracks or damage in the substrate, repair them before applying the product.
2. Mixing:

• Coverage per coat: Approximate coverage for Sika-1 mixed with cement is around 1.5 to 2 m² per 25 kg of cement for a single coat, depending on the surface texture and porosity.
• For 1 liter of Sika-1, it covers approximately 1.5 to 2 m² when mixed with the required cement and sand mixture.
• For 10 liters of Sika-1, it typically covers 15 to 20 m² per coat, depending on the application thickness and surface condition.

The actual coverage depends on factors such as surface texture, roughness, and the application technique. Multiple coats are often necessary for better waterproofing performance.
