Sikafloor®-430 DecoCem is a self-leveling, one-component, fiber-reinforced, fast-curing cementitious mortar that can be applied in layers ranging from 5 to 30 mm in thickness. It is designed for creating high-decorative floors in interior spaces.

Uses

Sikafloor®-430 DecoCem is suitable for use in both civil and commercial areas, applied on both new and old concrete or tile surfaces. It is ideal for spaces like stores, offices, warehouses, shopping centers, supermarkets, restaurants, and exhibition areas. Its excellent aesthetic finish allows it to be used as a topcoat.

Application Information

• Mixing Ratio:
  • Water: 22 ± 1%
  • If mixed with silica aggregate: Water: 16.5 ± 0.5%
• Consumption: ~ 1.75 kg/m²/mm
• Layer Thickness: Min. 5 mm – max. 30 mm; with silica aggregate: Min. 25 mm – max. 40 mm
• Ambient Temperature: +5°C min. / +30°C max.
• Relative Humidity: Avoid condensation
• Pot Life: ~ 20 min. at +20°C
• Overcoating Time: Sikafloor®-430 DecoCem can be overcoated with Sikafloor® epoxy or polyurethane products after approximately 48 hours or when the moisture content is less than 4%. Moisture content should be measured with a Sika®-Tramex meter or CM measurement.
• Foot Traffic: Ready for use in ~ 3 hours

Application Instructions

• Substrate Preparation: Concrete surfaces should be mechanically prepared (e.g., abrasive blast cleaning) to remove laitance and coatings, ensuring a clean, dry surface. High spots should be ground down, and any weak concrete should be removed and repaired.
  For tile surfaces, shot-blasting or grinding is necessary, and any poorly adhered tiles should be removed and repaired with an epoxy screed.
• Mixing: Gradually add Sikafloor®-430 DecoCem to the correct amount of water and mix for at least 3 minutes until uniform. For mixing with silica aggregate, add 30% by weight of silica aggregate (1-3 mm) and mix thoroughly.
