Technical Notes
- In saline water, swelling properties will be reduced and delayed. For marine environments, use SikaSwell® A Maritim version.
- In dry conditions, the product shrinks to its original dimensions and expands again when exposed to water.
- Swelling pressure depends on the surrounding concrete’s stiffness, including concrete quality, voids, and gaps. In ideal conditions, the product can create swelling pressure up to > 10 bar.
