Sika® ViscoCrete®-3288 PK meets the requirements of ASTM C494; Type G.

Product Information

• Chemical Base: Aqueous solution of modified polycarboxylates, co-polymers.
• Packaging: Available in 5-liter jerry cans, 20-liter plastic cans, 200-liter drums, 1000-liter IBCs, and bulk tanker supply upon request.
• Shelf Life: At least 12 months from the production date, if stored in original, unopened packaging.
• Storage Conditions: Store in a dry place at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C. Keep away from direct sunlight and frost.
• Appearance / Colour: Dark brown liquid.
• Specific Gravity: ~1.14 at 25°C.
• Solid Content by Weight: ~46%.
• pH Value: ~4.5 (+/-1).
• Chloride Ion Content: Nil.

Technical Information

• Follow standard concreting practices when using Sika® ViscoCrete®-3288 PK. Ensure proper curing, especially in high temperatures, to prevent shrinkage. For curing, use Sika® Antisol® or apply wet hessian.

Application Information

• Recommended Dosage: Typically between 0.3% and 2% by weight of binder. Trial mixes should be conducted to determine the exact dosage.
• Dispensing: Add Sika® ViscoCrete®-3288 PK to the mixing water or simultaneously with the water into the concrete mixer at the batching plant. It should not be added directly to the dry mix. For optimal water reduction, ensure thorough mixing with a minimum wet mixing time of 60 seconds. Only add the remaining water after two-thirds of the wet mixing time to avoid excess water in the concrete.
• Compatibility: Can be combined with all types of Portland cement (OPC, LA, SRC) and concretes containing pozzolanic materials such as Natural Pozzolana, GGBS, PFA, micro-silica. It is also compatible with the following Sika products:
