Usage: SikaCeram 102 is primarily used for fixing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in interior and exterior environments. Its key uses include:

• Bonding tiles to both walls and floors in residential and commercial applications.
• Suitable for moderate to low-moisture environments such as bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas.
• Ideal for use in medium-sized tiles and mosaics on surfaces like concrete, plaster, cement boards, and gypsum.
• Effective for both new installations and renovations, providing a strong, long-lasting bond.

Application:

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure that the substrate is clean, dry, and free of any contaminants like dust, oils, or old adhesives. If needed, prepare the surface by removing any loose materials or imperfections.
2. Mixing the Adhesive: Mix SikaCeram 102 with clean water to create a smooth, lump-free paste. Follow the manufacturer’s recommended mixing ratios and use a mechanical mixer for best results.
3. Applying the Adhesive: Using a notched trowel, spread the adhesive evenly onto the prepared substrate. Apply the adhesive in small sections to avoid it setting before tile placement.
4. Tiling: Press the tiles firmly into the adhesive, ensuring a strong bond. Leave a small gap between the tiles for grouting.
5. Drying Time: Allow the adhesive to set for 24-48 hours, depending on the ambient temperature and humidity. The tiles should be fully secured before any grouting or heavy traffic.
6. Clean-Up: Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with water. Once the adhesive hardens, it becomes difficult to remove.
