SikaDure 32

SikaDure 32 is a high-performance, epoxy-based, repair and bonding compound designed for use in a variety of construction and industrial applications. It is a two-component system, consisting of a resin and a hardener, which, when mixed, creates a strong, durable, and moisture-resistant bond. SikaDure 32 is ideal for repairing concrete, stone, metal, and other surfaces subjected to heavy mechanical stress, moisture, or chemical exposure.

Usage: SikaDure 32 is widely used in construction, maintenance, and industrial projects. It is ideal for:

• Repairing cracks, holes, and surface imperfections in concrete, metal, stone, and other structural surfaces.
• Bonding metal to concrete, stone, or other materials in heavy-duty applications.
• Sealing and repairing joints or cracks in concrete floors, walls, and pavements.
• Patching and resurfacing damaged surfaces in industrial, commercial, and residential environments.

Application:

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure that the surface to be repaired or bonded is clean, dry, and free of any dust, oil, grease, or other contaminants. For optimum adhesion, roughen the surface of smooth materials like metal or stone. Remove any loose or damaged material from the repair area.
2. Mixing: SikaDure 32 comes as a two-component system. Avoid over-mixing to prevent air entrapment.
3. Applying the Compound: Apply the mixed compound to the prepared surface using a trowel, spatula, or other appropriate tools, depending on the repair or bonding requirement. For crack filling, use the compound to fill and level the cracks or holes. For bonding, press the materials together firmly to ensure full contact and optimal adhesion.
4. Curing: Allow the SikaDure 32 to cure fully as per the manufacturer’s guidelines. The curing time typically ranges from 24 to 48 hours, depending on temperature and humidity conditions.
5. Clean-Up: Clean all tools and equipment immediately with a suitable solvent (such as acetone) before the compound hardens. Once cured, SikaDure 32 is difficult to remove.
