USES
Master Emaco® S 488 is designed for the structural repair of concrete elements, including:
- Columns, piers, and cross beams of bridges
- Cooling towers, chimneys, and industrial structures
- Water treatment plants and sewer facilities, prior to coating
- Tunnels, pipes, outfalls, and other below-ground constructions
- Marine structures
CHARACTERISTICS / ADVANTAGES
- Easy to use; simply mix with water
- Thixotropic consistency allows for application without the need for a bonding primer
- Excellent workability for both trowel and spray applications
- Suitable for application on horizontal, vertical, and overhead surfaces, both indoors and outdoors
- Shrinkage-compensated to reduce the risk of cracking under dynamic loads in both fresh and hardened states
- High resistance to carbonation
- Excellent freeze/thaw and de-icing salt resistance
