Consumption Notes
- Sand mix quantities are indicative and must be confirmed by pre-trials
- The maximum grain size should not exceed 1/3 of the final layer thickness
- The consumption values are theoretical and do not account for variations such as surface porosity, profile, or wastage
- Material Temperature: Minimum +10°C, Maximum +30°C
- Ambient Air Temperature: Minimum +10°C, Maximum +30°C
- Relative Humidity: Maximum 80%
- Dew Point: Ensure substrate and uncured product are at least 3°C above dew point to avoid condensation and blooming.
Substrate Moisture Content
- For cementitious substrates: Moisture content should be ≤ 4% (CM-method) and no rising moisture (ASTM D4263, polyethylene sheet).
- For moisture > 4%, apply Sikafloor® EpoCem® as a temporary moisture barrier.
