DESCRIPTION
Sikafloor® CureHard GL is a water-based solution formulated with lithium silicate and acrylic dispersion, designed for sealing and curing power-trowelled or polished/grinded concrete surfaces. In comparison to similar products made with sodium or potassium silicates, this product is less likely to cause persistent efflorescence, even in the event of over-application.

USES
Sikafloor® CureHard GL is for use by trained professionals only.
It enhances the durability and density of concrete surfaces while imparting a silk-like gloss. Unlike traditional crystalline hardeners based on sodium or potassium, this lithium-based formula prevents the formation of efflorescence on concrete. Regular cleaning through simple machine washing results in a high-gloss finish, improving the floor’s aesthetic appeal. It can also be used repeatedly for maintenance without the need for additional mechanical preparation of the substrate.

CHARACTERISTICS / ADVANTAGES
The silicate component of this product penetrates the concrete, initiating a chemical reaction that leads to the crystallization of reaction products, which helps fill the surface pores. The acrylic dispersion further seals the surface, reducing concrete absorption during the initial days after application. The application of Sikafloor® CureHard GL provides the following benefits:

• Declaration of Performance No. 0208150101100000081180, certified by Factory Production Control Body No.1020, and CE-marked.
• Surface Protection Product – Impregnation in accordance with EN 1504-2, with intended use as outlined in Table ZA.1b and 1.c of EN 1504-2:2004, conforming to Annex ZA Table ZA.3a.

• Consumption: 0.05–0.10 L/m² (10–20 m²/L on power-trowelled concrete)

For maximum densification, apply a second coat after the first coat has dried. Drying times may vary depending on ambient conditions, especially temperature and humidity.

Drying Time
The surface becomes touch-dry after approximately 2 hours at +20°C.
