Sikament® RB 820 is a synthetic polymer superplasticiser specially designed to enhance the rheoplastic qualities of concrete, producing highly fluid, free-flowing concrete without segregation. It gives high water reduction, improved workability and slump retention, and is compatible with all cements and most ASTM-compliant air-entraining agents.

Storage

Store in undamaged, unopened, original sealed packaging in dry conditions, protected from direct sunlight and frost. Refer to the PDS for exact storage temperature and shelf life.

Application Guide (5 Easy Steps)

01
Determine Dosage

Establish the optimum dosage by trial mixes with the actual materials and conditions. Typical dosage ranges are given in the current Sika Pakistan PDS.

Dispensing

Add the admixture to the concrete with the mixing water, ideally after most of the water has been added and all solids are wetted. Do not add to dry aggregate or cement.

Mixing

Mix thoroughly to fully disperse the admixture and develop workability and water reduction.

Placing

Place the high-workability concrete with reduced vibration; ensure formwork is properly secured.

05
Curing

Cure properly, especially at high temperatures, using Sika Antisol products or wet hessian.
