It is used to produce free-flowing concrete for slabs, foundations, walls, columns, piers, piles and slender, densely reinforced components.

Storage

Store in undamaged, unopened, original sealed packaging in dry conditions between +5 C and +35 C. Protect from direct sunlight and frost.

12 months from date of production (correctly stored).

Application Guide (5 Easy Steps)

01
Determine Dosage

Establish the exact dosage by trial mixes. As a guide, use 0.8-2.0% by weight of binder; other dosages may suit specific mix designs and climatic conditions.

Dispensing

Add Sikament RB 850 as a separate component, poured into the concrete right after the first 80% of the mixing water (when all solids are wetted). Do not add to dry aggregate.

Mixing

Mix thoroughly to disperse the admixture and develop full workability and water reduction.

Placing

Ensure formwork is properly installed and secured for high-workability mixes. Place with reduced vibration.

05
Curing

Cure the fresh concrete properly, especially at high temperatures, using Sika Antisol products or wet hessian to prevent plastic and drying shrinkage.
