Sikament® RB 850 PK is formulated from synthetic polymers designed to impart rheoplastic qualities to concrete. Sikament® RB 850 PK is formulated from synthetic polymers designed to impart rheoplastic qualities to concrete. Storage

Store in undamaged, unopened, original sealed packaging in dry conditions between +5 C and +35 C. Protect from direct sunlight and frost.

Shelf Life

12 months minimum from production date (correctly stored).

Application Guide (5 Easy Steps)

01
Determine Dosage

Establish the optimum dosage by trial mixes. Starting guide: 0.8-2.0 L per 100 kg cementitious in normal concrete; 1.5-3.0 L per 100 kg in high-performance microsilica concrete.

Dispensing

Dispense into the concrete with the mixing water. Plasticising and water reduction are higher when added after 50-70% of the mixing water. Do not add to dry aggregate or cement.

Mixing

Mix thoroughly to disperse the admixture and develop the rheoplastic flow.

Placing

Place the fluid concrete with minimal vibration. For freeze-thaw exposure, combine with a suitable air-entraining agent.

Curing

Cure properly, especially in hot climates, to prevent plastic and drying shrinkage.
