Sikament® RB 858 PK — Dual-Action Superplasticiser & Water-Reducing Concrete Admixture
Sikament® RB 858 is a highly effective dual-action liquid superplasticiser and water reducer with excellent slump retention. It greatly improves workability, is especially suitable for slender components with densely packed reinforcement, reduces the need for vibration and improves cohesion to reduce segregation. Suitable for hot and tropical climatic conditions.

Storage
Store in undamaged, unopened, original sealed packaging in dry conditions, protected from direct sunlight and frost. Refer to the PDS for exact storage temperature and shelf life.
Application guide
Application guide (5 easy steps)
- Determine DosageEstablish the optimum dosage by trial mixes with the actual materials and conditions. Typical dosage ranges are given in the current Sika Pakistan PDS.
- DispensingAdd the admixture to the concrete with the mixing water, ideally after most of the water has been added and all solids are wetted. Do not add to dry aggregate or cement.
- MixingMix thoroughly to fully disperse the admixture and develop workability and water reduction.
- PlacingPlace the high-workability concrete with reduced vibration; ensure formwork is properly secured.
- CuringCure properly, especially at high temperatures, using Sika Antisol products or wet hessian.
