Storage

Store in undamaged, unopened, original sealed packaging in dry conditions between +5 C and +35 C. Protect from direct sunlight and frost. Mix well before use.

Shelf Life

12 months from date of production (correctly stored).

Application Guide (5 Easy Steps)

01
Determine Dosage

Establish the optimum dosage by trial mixes. As a guide, use 400-1200 ml per 100 kg of cementitious material as a starting point; up to 1800 ml per 100 kg may be used in high-performance concrete after site trials.

Dispensing

Dispense Sikament RB 918 into the concrete together with the mixing water. For best plasticising and water reduction, add to the damp concrete after 50-70% of the mixing water has been added. Do not add to dry aggregate or cement.

Mixing

Mix thoroughly to disperse the admixture and develop full workability.

Placing

Place and compact the rheoplastic concrete. Allow for fluid concrete pressure on formwork and monitor stripping times.

05
Curing

Cure the concrete properly, particularly in hot, windy and dry climates, to prevent plastic and drying shrinkage.
