SikaProof® A+ 08 | MCT CHEMICALS | SIKA PAKISTAN

SikaProof® A+ 08 is a sheet membrane made from polyolefin (FPO) designed for waterproofing below-ground reinforced concrete structures. This membrane can be applied either before or after concrete placement. It features a special hybrid bonding layer that creates a complete and durable bond with the concrete. Joints are sealed using cold-applied tapes. The membrane’s total thickness is 1.35 mm, with a 0.8 mm waterproofing layer. It is suitable for use in hot and tropical climates.

USES
SikaProof® A+ 08 is ideal for:

  • Damp-proofing, waterproofing, and protecting concrete in basements and other underground structures.
  • Precast reinforced concrete structures.
  • Cast-in-place reinforced concrete structures.
  • Existing reinforced concrete structures.

FEATURES

  • Dual Bond: Provides a full, permanent mechanical and chemical bond to concrete.
  • Pre/Post Application: Can be applied either before or after concrete placement.
  • No Lateral Water Migration: Prevents lateral water movement between the concrete and the membrane.
  • Easy Installation: Quick and simple to install.
  • High Flexibility: Excellent crack-bridging properties.
  • Superior Watertightness: Tested to meet high watertightness standards.
  • Durability: Resistant to aggressive conditions in natural groundwater and soil.
  • Weather and UV Resistance: Temporarily resistant to weathering and UV exposure.
  • Compatibility: Can be combined with other Sika® waterproofing and joint sealing systems.

SUSTAINABILITY

  • Specific Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) in accordance with EN 15804, independently verified by BRE Global.
  • Contributes to LEED® v4 credits for Materials and Resources (MR) in Building Product Disclosure and Optimization and Material Ingredients.
