Sikasil® WS-305 is a neutral-curing, one-component silicone weatherproofing sealant with high movement capability and excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates including glass, aluminium, coated metals and many construction materials. Store in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in cool, dry conditions, protected from frost and direct sunlight. Refer to the PDS for exact storage temperature and shelf life.

Application guide

Application guide (5 easy steps)

  1. Joint PreparationJoint faces must be sound, clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease and loose material. Use a backing rod / bond breaker to control joint depth where required.
  2. PrimingApply the appropriate Sika primer to the joint faces where the substrate or exposure requires it, and observe the waiting time.
  3. ApplicationGun the sealant firmly into the joint, ensuring full contact with both faces and avoiding air entrapment.
  4. ToolingTool within the skin-over time to a smooth, slightly concave profile wetting both faces.
  5. CuringAllow to cure undisturbed; protect from contamination and movement until cured.
