Description
Usage:
The Sika® Combiflex system is used for waterproofing and sealing joints in a variety of structures, including:
- Expansion Joints: Sealing movement joints in concrete and masonry structures.
- Bridges: Waterproofing bridge joints to prevent water and contaminants from entering structural elements.
- Underground Structures: Protecting tunnels, basements, and subways from groundwater penetration.
- Swimming Pools: Ensuring waterproof seals around pool structures to prevent leaks.
- Parking Decks: Sealing joints in parking decks to avoid water damage to the underlying structure.
- Sewage Treatment Plants: Providing waterproofing for joints exposed to harsh conditions and chemical exposure.

Application:
- Preparation: Clean and dry the surface of the joint area to remove dust, debris, oil, and any contaminants that may affect adhesion.
- Primer Application: Apply a Sika recommended primer to the substrate where the Combiflex strip will be installed.
- Installation: Install the Sika® Combiflex strip over the prepared and primed joint area, ensuring the strip is positioned securely with no gaps.
- Sealing: Apply Sika’s recommended sealant over the edge of the Combiflex to provide a fully sealed, waterproof solution.
- Curing: Allow the system to cure as per the instructions to achieve optimal adhesion and performance.
