Usage:

SikaDur® 330 is used for:

   Coverage:

9. Sikadur® 330 is a high-strength, structural adhesive designed for bonding and repairing concrete, stone, and masonry surfaces. The coverage depends on the thickness and type of application, but generally, 1 kg of Sikadur® 330 covers about 0.6 m² at 1 mm thickness. For precise coverage, the actual amount used may vary based on the application method and surface texture.

   Application:

   1. Surface Preparation: Clean the surfaces to be bonded, ensuring they are free from any contaminants such as dust, oils, dirt, or old coatings. For porous surfaces, roughen them to improve the bonding area.
   2. Mixing: Sikadur® 330 is a two-component system, consisting of a resin and a hardener. Mix the two components thoroughly until a uniform consistency is achieved, following the recommended mixing ratio (resin and hardener).
   3. Application: Apply the mixed Sikadur® 330 to the prepared surface using a trowel, putty knife, or appropriate application tool. Press the material firmly onto the substrate to ensure full contact and bonding.
   4. Bonding: Once applied, place the elements to be bonded or repaired. For structural repairs, ensure the material is spread evenly for full coverage and bonding.
   5. Curing: Allow Sikadur® 330 to cure for at least 24 hours at standard temperatures (longer in colder conditions). The full strength is typically achieved after 7 days. Avoid exposing the bonded area to heavy loads or stress until the adhesive has fully cured.
   6. Inspection: Once cured, inspect the bonded area to ensure proper adhesion and no voids or air pockets.
