Sikagard®-551 S Elastic Primer

Description

Sikagard®-551 S Elastic Primer is a high-performance, solvent-based designed to enhance the adhesion of Sikagard protective coatings on various substrates. It is specifically formulated to prepare surfaces for the application of elastic coatings, ensuring long-lasting protection and durability. The primer is ideal for use on concrete, masonry, and other porous surfaces, providing a strong bond that improves the overall efficiency and lifespan of the coatings.

Application:

1. Clean the surface to remove dirt, dust, oils, and other contaminants.
2. Stir the primer thoroughly before application.
3. Apply with a brush or roller in a uniform layer.
4. Allow the primer to dry for at least 2–4 hours, or until it reaches a tack-free state.
5. Once dry, apply the appropriate Sikagard® topcoat as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
