Sika REP FINE

The substrate must be sound, clean and free of dust, oil, grease and loose particles. Pre-wet absorbent concrete to a saturated surface-dry condition before application.

Add the SikaRep Fine powder slowly to clean cold water while mixing continuously for at least 3 minutes to a homogeneous, lump-free consistency. Use an electric blender at a maximum of 500 rpm; do not mix faster, as this can reduce the cured strength. Do not add extra water after mixing.

Apply by trowel, spatula or wet spray. Applied layer thickness is a minimum of 1.0 mm and a maximum of 2.0 mm in a single layer. Work within the ambient/substrate temperature range of +5 C to +40 C.

As soon as the mortar starts to set, smooth it with a wooden or synthetic float, styrofoam block or damp sponge. Do not add water to the surface during finishing, as this may cause discolouration.

Where rapid surface drying is likely, apply light water fogging for up to 48 hours (after final set) or a suitable water-based curing compound such as Sika Antisol WB. Clean all tools with water immediately after use.
