Sika REP

Remove all loose and deteriorated material to expose a sound substrate. Clean the surface of dust, oil, grease and laitance. Square the edges of the repair area and pre-soak the substrate with water to a saturated surface-dry (SSD) condition before application.

SikaRep is one component; add clean water only and mix to a uniform, lump-free consistency. Follow the current official Sika Pakistan PDS for the exact water quantity and mixing time.

While the prepared substrate is still damp, prime with a slurry coat of SikaRep (or a suitable Sika bonding primer) so the repair mortar is applied wet-on-wet for best adhesion.

Apply SikaRep onto the primed, damp substrate and compact well. Build up to the required thickness and finish to the desired surface. Refer to the official PDS for maximum layer thickness.

Cure using approved methods; moist-cure immediately after the mortar reaches initial set and protect from rapid drying, direct sun and strong wind. Clean tools with water immediately; hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
