The concrete substrate must be sound, clean and roughened, free from laitance, dust, oil and loose material. Saturate the surface with water to a saturated surface-dry condition before grouting; remove standing water.

Erect liquid-tight, non-absorbent formwork with adequate clearance and a head box where needed to allow air expulsion and continuous flow.

Add the powder to the measured clean water and mix with a low-speed mixer to a uniform, lump-free consistency at the required flow.

Pour continuously from one side to avoid trapping air, maintaining a constant head until the void is completely filled.

Cure exposed grout promptly with wet hessian and/or a curing compound to prevent rapid moisture loss.
