Sikament® 512 is a highly effective water-reducing agent and superplasticiser for producing high-quality, free-flowing concrete in hot climates. Its dual action promotes accelerated hardening with high early and ultimate strengths, giving substantial workability improvement without added water, long-lasting control of slump loss, greater than 15% water reduction, improved surface finish and increased water-tightness.

Storage

Store in undamaged, unopened, original sealed packaging in dry conditions, protected from direct sunlight and frost. Refer to the PDS for exact storage temperature and shelf life.

Application Guide (5 Easy Steps)

01
Determine Dosage

Establish the optimum dosage by trial mixes with the actual materials and conditions. Typical dosage ranges are given in the current Sika Pakistan PDS.

Dispensing

Add the admixture to the gauging water or pour it into the concrete mixer with the mixing water. Do not add directly to the dry mix.

Mixing

Mix thoroughly (a minimum wet mixing time of about 60 seconds is recommended) to obtain full water reduction and workability.

Placing

Place the high-workability concrete with reduced vibration; ensure formwork is secure.

05
Curing

Cure the concrete properly, especially in hot conditions, using Sika Antisol products or moist curing.
