Sikament® RB 820 significantly enhances both the fresh and hardened properties of concrete, making it suitable for a variety of applications:

PRODUCT INFORMATION

• Packaging: Available in IBC tanks and 210-liter drums.
• Shelf Life: 12 months from the production date, if stored in unopened, undamaged, and original packaging.
• Storage Conditions: Store Sikament® RB 820 in a location where temperatures do not drop below +5°C. If the product freezes, thaw it at temperatures of +5°C or higher, gently reconstituting with mild mechanical agitation. Do not use pressurized air for agitation. Protect from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Appearance / Colour: Dark brown liquid
• Specific Gravity: 1.12 ± 0.02 at 25°C
• pH Value: ≥ 6
• Total Chloride Ion Content: < 0.2%

APPLICATION INFORMATION

• Recommended Dosage: The optimal dosage of Sikament® RB 820 should be determined by trial mixes. A general guideline is a dosage between 800 ml to 2000 ml per 100 kg of cementitious material. For high-performance concrete, dosages up to 2000 ml per 100 kg of cementitious material may be used, subject to site trials.
• Compatibility: Sikament® RB 820 is compatible with all cements and most air-entraining agents that meet ASTM standards. For concrete subjected to freezing and thawing cycles, it is recommended to use Sikament® RB 820 in combination with SikaControl®-720 AER (air-entraining agent).
