Uses:
Sika® Mould BA Concentrate 1:39 is suitable for use on:
- Steel shuttering
- Plywood shutters
- Plastic formwork

- Type: Chemical and oil blend
- Form: Amber liquid
- Packaging: Available in 20 L and 200 L drums
- Storage: Keep in a dry area between 5ºC and 35ºC. Protect from direct sunlight
- Shelf life: At least 12 months from the production date when stored in the original unopened packaging
Technical Data:
- Density at 25ºC: Approximately 0.86 kg/L
- Dilution ratio: Sika® Mould BA Concentrate 1:39 : Diesel Fuel = 1 : 39 (by volume)
- Coverage: Approximately 25 – 60 m²/L or 15 – 35 g/m² (after dilution)
Application Details:
- Surface condition: The formwork surface should be clean, free from dirt and laitance.
- Application: Stir before use. Dilute Sika® Mould BA Concentrate 1:39 with Diesel Fuel as per the recommended dilution rate. Apply one coat using a brush, roller, cloth, or spray. Ensure new formwork remains dry before and after application.
- Important: Do not wet the applied coating even when the surface is dry. Allow Sika® Mould BA Concentrate 1:39 to evaporate before placing concrete.
Cleaning:
- Clean all equipment and tools with detergent and lukewarm water.
Remarks:
- After application, protect the treated area from rain before placing the concrete.
