Uses:

Sika® Mould BA Concentrate 1:39 is suitable for use on:

• Steel shuttering
• Plywood shutters
• Plastic formwork

Product Data:

• Type: Chemical and oil blend
• Form: Amber liquid
• Packaging: Available in 20 L and 200 L drums
• Storage: Keep in a dry area between 5ºC and 35ºC. Protect from direct sunlight
• Shelf life: At least 12 months from the production date when stored in the original unopened packaging

Technical Data:

• Density at 25ºC: Approximately 0.86 kg/L
• Dilution ratio: Sika® Mould BA Concentrate 1:39 : Diesel Fuel = 1 : 39 (by volume)
• Coverage: Approximately 25 – 60 m²/L or 15 – 35 g/m² (after dilution)

Application Details:

• Surface condition: The formwork surface should be clean, free from dirt and laitance.
• Application: Stir before use. Dilute Sika® Mould BA Concentrate 1:39 with Diesel Fuel as per the recommended dilution rate. Apply one coat using a brush, roller, cloth, or spray. Ensure new formwork remains dry before and after application.
• Important: Do not wet the applied coating even when the surface is dry. Allow Sika® Mould BA Concentrate 1:39 to evaporate before placing concrete.

Cleaning:

• Clean all equipment and tools with detergent and lukewarm water.

Remarks:

• After application, protect the treated area from rain before placing the concrete.
