SikaViscoCrete®-20 HE — High-Range Water Reducer / 3rd-Generation Superplasticizer
SikaViscoCrete®-20 HE is a liquid admixture for concrete and mortar used as a high-range water reducer / superplasticizer. Working by electrostatic adsorption and steric repulsion, it disperses cement particles to give high fluidity with powerful water reduction (>20%), pronounced early strength development and reduced permeability. Suitable for hot and tropical climates.

Storage
Store in original, unopened, sealed packaging in dry, frost-free conditions. Protect from direct sunlight. Refer to the PDS for exact storage temperature and shelf life.
Application guide
Application guide (5 easy steps)
- Trial MixesEstablish the optimum dosage by trial mixes with the actual materials and conditions. Typical dosage ranges are given in the current Sika Pakistan PDS.
- DispensingAdd the admixture to the concrete together with the mixing water or into the wet concrete. Do not add to the dry aggregate/cement.
- MixingMix thoroughly to achieve uniform dispersion and full plasticising effect. Extended mixing improves the water-reduction and flow performance.
- PlacingPlace and compact the highly workable concrete using standard good practice. The improved flow reduces placing and compaction effort.
- CuringCure the concrete properly, especially in hot conditions, using an approved Sika curing compound or moist curing.
