Usage: Sikadure 43T is suitable for a wide range of industrial, commercial, and construction applications. Its primary uses include:

• Bonding concrete, steel, wood, ceramic, and other materials in industrial and construction projects.
• Structural bonding and repair applications, including filling cracks, bonding pre-cast elements, and repairing concrete surfaces.
• Adhesive for installations requiring high shear and tensile strength, such as anchoring or grouting operations.
• Suitable for outdoor and indoor applications in environments exposed to moisture, chemicals, or temperature fluctuations.

Application:

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, dirt, rust, or any loose materials. Use abrasive blasting or grinding to remove contaminants and create a rough texture for better adhesion.
2. Mixing the Adhesive: Sikadure 43T is a two-component system that must be mixed thoroughly. Combine the base and hardener in the correct ratio as specified by the manufacturer. Mix until uniform and smooth, ensuring no streaks are visible.
3. Applying the Adhesive: Apply the mixed Sikadure 43T adhesive to the prepared surface using a trowel, spatula, or brush, depending on the specific bonding application.
4. Assembly/Positioning: If bonding different materials (such as concrete to metal or wood), position and align the materials within the adhesive’s open time. Apply pressure if necessary to ensure strong contact and eliminate air pockets.
5. Curing: Allow the adhesive to cure fully as per the manufacturer’s recommended curing time. The curing time depends on the temperature and the substrate. Typically, curing takes 24-48 hours for full strength.
6. Clean-Up: Clean tools and excess adhesive immediately after use with a suitable solvent (e.g., acetone) before the product hardens. Once cured, the adhesive is difficult to remove.
