Usage: Sarnafil® G 410-12 is ideal for:
- Fully bonded, exposed flat roofs.
- Roof junctions and flashings, including wall and parapet junctions, roof lights, and other penetrations.
- Ballasted roofs such as green roofs, utility roofs, inverted roofs, and gravel roofs.
Application:
- Surface Preparation: Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free from contaminants such as dirt, oil, grease, and coatings that may hinder adhesion. For metal substrates, degrease with Sarna Cleaner before adhesive application.
- Installation Method: Apply using Sarnacol® adhesives for fully bonded systems. For exposed roof junctions, use Sarnafil® G 410-12 L detailing membrane. The membrane is hot-air weldable, eliminating the need for open flame equipment.
- Welding: Overlap seams must be welded using electric hot air welding equipment. Welding parameters, including temperature, machine speed, airflow, pressure, and machine settings, must be evaluated, adapted, and checked on-site according to the type of equipment and climatic conditions prior to welding. The effective width of welded overlaps by hot air must be a minimum of 20 mm.
Coverage: Each roll of Sarnafil® G 410-12 covers:
- Length: 25.00 m
- Width: 2.00 m
- Roll weight: 82.00 kg
- Thickness: 1.2 mm
- Mass per unit area: 1.62 kg/m²
Advantages:
- Proven Performance: Established track record of durability and reliability.
- Lacquer-Coated Surface: Enhances resistance to dirt accumulation and environmental pollutants.
- UV Resistance: Maintains integrity under prolonged ultraviolet exposure.
- High Dimensional Stability: Glass fleece inlay ensures minimal expansion or contraction.
- Water Vapour Permeability: Allows for moisture dissipation, reducing the risk of condensation.
- Environmental Resistance: Withstands common environmental influences, including micro-organisms.
- Hot-Air Weldable: Facilitates seamless installation without open flames.
- Recyclable: Contributes to sustainable building practices.
