Sikalastic®-680 RT — One-Component, UV-Resistant Liquid Waterproofing Membrane

Sikalastic®-680 RT is a one-component, moisture-triggered, liquid-applied waterproofing membrane for exposed roofs. It cures to a seamless, elastic, UV-resistant membrane, is fast and easy to apply cold, and is suited to roof waterproofing and refurbishment, including roofs with complex detailing. Suitable for hot and tropical climatic conditions.

Storage

Store in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions, protected from frost and direct sunlight. Refer to the PDS for exact storage temperature and shelf life.

Application guide

Application guide (5 easy steps)

  1. Substrate PreparationThe substrate must be sound, clean and free from dust, laitance, oil and loose material. Repair defects and prime as required; allow the primer to cure tack-free.
  2. DetailingReinforce upstands, joints, drains and penetrations with the appropriate Sikalastic fleece/mesh bedded into a base coat.
  3. First CoatApply the first coat evenly by brush, roller or airless spray at the specified consumption, embedding reinforcement where used.
  4. Further CoatsApply subsequent coats after the indicated waiting time to build the required total thickness.
  5. CuringProtect from rain and ponding until fully cured before foot traffic.
