Sikalastic®-560 is a cold-applied, one-component, waterborne liquid-applied waterproofing membrane that is highly elastic and UV resistant. It is used for exposed roof waterproofing and roof coating, applied in two or three coats and, for full waterproofing, in combination with Sikalastic Fleece-120 or Sika Reemat Premium reinforcement. It is a liquid-applied roof waterproofing kit to ETAG 005 (ETA-12/0308) with CE marking, offers high solar reflectance and meets external fire performance requirements on non-combustible substrates.

Storage

Store in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions between +5 C and +30 C. Higher storage temperatures may reduce shelf life.

Application Guide (5 Easy Steps)

01
Substrate Preparation

The substrate must be sound, clean and free from dust, laitance, oil and loose material. Repair defects and prime as required using the appropriate Sika primer; allow the primer to cure tack-free.

Detailing

Treat details, upstands and movement areas first, reinforcing with Sikalastic Fleece / Reemat where high movement, irregular substrate or crack-bridging is required.

First Coat

Apply the first coat evenly by brush, roller or airless spray at the specified consumption. For reinforced systems, roll the fleece into the wet coat avoiding bubbles and creases, with minimum 5 cm overlaps.

Further Coats

Apply the second (and third, if specified) coat after the indicated waiting time, ensuring full and even coverage to the required total thickness.

Curing

Allow the membrane to cure fully. Protect from rain, ponding water and traffic until cured as stated in the PDS.
