Sika ANCHORFIX – 2

Concrete/mortar must be older than 28 days and substrate strength verified (carry out pull-out tests if unknown). Drill the hole to the required diameter and depth with an electric drill. The hole must be clean, dry and free from oil and grease.

Clean the hole with a blow pump or oil-free compressed air from the bottom (at least 2x), then brush thoroughly with a steel brush larger than the hole diameter (at least 2x), then blow out again (at least 2x).

Unscrew the cap, cut the film, screw on the static mixer and place the cartridge in a standard gun. Pump approximately twice until both components come out uniformly and discard that initial material.

Inject the adhesive from the bottom of the hole while slowly withdrawing the mixer, avoiding air entrapment (use extension tubing for deep holes). Insert the anchor with a rotary motion within the open time; some adhesive should emerge. Do not move or load the anchor during curing.

Clean all tools and equipment with Sika Colma Cleaner immediately after use. Hardened or cured material can only be removed mechanically.
