Store in dry, undamaged, unopened original sealed bags. Protect from direct sunlight and frost. Store at +5°C to +35°C.
Minimum 6 months from date of production (correctly stored).
Substrate must be sound and as flat as possible. Fill blow holes and irregularities with a suitable SikaTop / MonoTop product. Saturate absorbent concrete with water to a surface-saturated-dry (SSD) condition.
Add approx. 4.8–5.2 L of clean, cold water per 20 kg bag. Slowly add the powder and mix for at least 3 minutes until homogeneous and lump-free. Do not add extra water after mixing.
Apply at approx. 2–3 mm using a suitable notched trowel. Cover only an area that can be tiled within the open time. Press tiles firmly with a twisting action.
Where rapid surface drying is likely, follow the official Sika curing recommendations (e.g. light water fogging, hessian or a curing compound).
Clean tools with water while the material is still fresh. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
