Description

Usage: Sikalastic-560 is primarily used for:

• Roof Waterproofing: Provides a durable and flexible solution for flat, sloped, and green roofs, offering reliable waterproofing for both new and old buildings.
• Terrace and Balcony Waterproofing: Ideal for protecting terraces, balconies, and outdoor spaces from water infiltration, preventing damage to underlying structures.
• Podiums and Car Parks: Suitable for podium decks, underground car parks, and other concrete surfaces exposed to traffic or environmental conditions.
• Basement Waterproofing: Effective for waterproofing horizontal and vertical surfaces in basements and foundations, offering reliable moisture protection.
• Industrial and Commercial Applications: Protects surfaces exposed to chemical, thermal, or mechanical stresses, such as walkways, factory floors, and loading docks.

Application:

1. Surface Preparation:

2. Application Process:

3. Drying and Curing:
   • Sikalastic-560 is fast-curing and typically forms a tack-free surface within 1-2 hours at 23°C.
   • Full curing may take 24 hours, depending on environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity.
4. Reapplication:
   • If a thicker membrane is required, or if applying on highly porous surfaces, additional coats may be applied after the previous layer has cured.

Coverage:

• Coverage per coat: Approximately 1.5 to 2.0 m² per liter depending on the substrate and application method.
• For a 10-liter container: It can cover approximately 15 to 20 m² per coat.
• For a 20-liter container: It can cover approximately 30 to 40 m² per coat.

The actual coverage depends on the surface roughness and porosity.
