Sika® Injection-101 RC is a low-viscosity, fast-foaming, solvent-free, water-reactive polyurethane injection resin which cures to a dense, flexible foam with a fine cellular structure. Sika® Injection-101 RC is a low-viscosity, fast-foaming, solvent-free, water-reactive polyurethane injection resin which cures to a dense, flexible foam with a fine cellular structure. It can be injected as a single-component system and is suitable for hot and tropical climatic conditions.

Storage

Store in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions, protected from frost and direct sunlight. Refer to the PDS for exact storage temperature and shelf life.

Application Guide (5 Easy Steps)

01
Assessment & Packers

Assess the leak and set injection packers along the crack/joint at appropriate spacing, drilling as required to intersect the water path.

Equipment

Use a suitable single-component injection pump. Ensure equipment is clean and primed with the resin.

03
Injection

Inject the resin through the packers under controlled pressure; on contact with water it foams and expands to fill and seal the void.

04
Control

Work systematically from the lowest point upward (or as the method statement dictates), monitoring for resin/foam emergence to confirm fill.

05
Finishing

Once cured, remove packers and make good the surface. Clean equipment promptly with the recommended cleaner.
