Sika Mono Plug

Cut out the leaking crack/hole to a sound, undercut (dovetail) profile where possible and remove loose material so the plug can key in.

Mix a small quantity of powder with clean water to a stiff, mouldable putty. Mix only what can be used within its very short working time.

Quickly form the mortar into a plug/ball by hand (wearing gloves) as it begins to warm and set.

Press the plug firmly into the leak point and hold in place until it has set hard and the water flow is stopped.

Trim flush and, where required, over-seal with a suitable Sika waterproofing product once the plug is set.
