Usage:
SikaGrout® 113 is used for the following applications:
- Machinery Foundation Grouting: Provides a stable and durable base for machinery, ensuring alignment and reducing vibrations.
- Anchor Bolt Grouting: Ideal for grouting around anchor bolts, ensuring secure anchorage in concrete or steel.
- Concrete Repairs: Suitable for filling voids, cracks, and gaps in concrete structures, providing long-lasting structural repairs.
- Precast Concrete Element Grouting: Perfect for grouting the joints of precast concrete elements, ensuring a secure bond and load transfer.
- Structural Grouting: Can be used to fill voids and cavities in structural elements, including beams, columns, and walls, enhancing load-bearing capacity.
- Road and Bridge Applications: Used for grouting expansion joints, as well as for repairs and maintenance of bridges and roads.
- Elevator and Lift Installations: Provides strong, stable grouting for elevator and lift installations, ensuring proper alignment and secure positioning.
Application:
- Surface Preparation: Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, grease, or other contaminants. Surface preparation may involve cleaning, roughening, or priming, depending on the application.
- Mixing: SikaGrout® 113 is available in powder form and should be mixed with clean water in the recommended ratio. Mix thoroughly to achieve a uniform, lump-free paste. Mechanical mixing is preferred for best results.
- Application: Apply the grout by pouring or troweling it into the prepared area, ensuring that it completely fills any gaps, voids, or cavities. For vertical applications, support may be required to prevent sagging. Level and smooth the surface as needed.
- Curing: Allow the grout to set and cure properly. Typical curing time ranges from 24 to 48 hours depending on environmental conditions. Protect the applied grout from extreme temperatures, drying winds, and excessive water during the curing period.
- Cleaning: Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with water before the grout begins to set.
Coverage:
SikaGrout® 113 provides excellent coverage, typically yielding about 18–20 liters per 25 kg bag depending on the specific application and consistency required. Coverage will vary based on the substrate, thickness, and application method. The product’s smooth flow and non-shrink properties ensure minimal waste and excellent filling capacity, making it an efficient and cost-effective solution for a wide range of grouting applications.
Advantage:
- Non-Shrink: Ensures stable and durable grouting with no shrinkage over time, maintaining its volume and strength.
- Superior Adhesion: Offers excellent adhesion to concrete, steel, and masonry substrates.
- High Strength: Provides strong mechanical properties, making it ideal for use in high-load environments.
- Easy to Use: The smooth consistency makes the grout easy to mix and apply, minimizing labor time and reducing the potential for errors.
- Versatile: Suitable for a variety of applications, from machinery foundations to structural repairs, offering broad applicability across industries.
- Durability: Provides long-lasting performance, even in harsh environmental conditions.
- Cost-Effective: Reduces material waste and labor costs due to efficient application and long-term performance.
